Order Processing Time
Please allow 2 business days to process/ship your order. Orders are typically processed Mon – Wed, excluding major holidays. During periods of high seasonal volume (and cooler temps.) orders will be processed Mon - Thurs.
Your package will customarily leave our warehouse the next business day, although we do try to ship same-day whenever possible. (Our daily order cut-off time is 2pm PST. Orders placed after 2pm, will be processed the following business day)

Shipping/Delivery Time
All orders are shipped from our facility in Oakland, CA via FedEx 2-Day transit to ensure optimal quality upon arrival. We predominantly ship Mon - Wed to ensure your orders are not held in a warm sorting-facility over the weekend.
You will receive a pre-shipment email with your FedEx Tracking# the day your order ships. If you haven’t received an email within 3 business days, please be sure to check your spam folder. After shipments have left OCHO’s facility and are in FedEx ownership, OCHO is not liable for FedEx delivery timing. Customers can check order status by using their tracking number at FedEx.com.

Shipping Cost + Carrier Info
- All orders over $59 ship free within the United States.
- Orders under $59 ship are charged a $10 flat fee for shipping.
To qualify for free shipping, order subtotal must amount to $59 or more after coupons/discounts have been applied.
All of our orders ship using FedEx 2-Day express service. We've tested shipping with other carriers and have found FedEx to be most reliable for the majority of our shipping destinations.
We strongly encourage our customers to sign up for FedEx Delivery Manager, which allows recipients to have better control & visibility over their shipments. This is a FREE service through FedEx.com that allows you to set up delivery instructions for your driver, track & receive alerts for all FedEx packages delivering to your address, redirect & hold packages, sign for packages, and view picture proof of delivery.
Shipping Locations + PO/APO Boxes
At this time, OCHO Candy only ships within the US and cannot ship Internally.
FedEx does not deliver to PO or APO Boxes. Please enter physical street addresses only.
Discount Codes + Promotions
Due to system limitations, only one discount code can be used per order.
*For Customers unable to view the discount-code field, please note: on a desktop this field will be on the right-hand side of the page between the products in the cart & the total cost. On a mobile device, the discount code field appears under 'Show order summary'. If the field still isn't visible after trying a different device or browser, this seems to be the fix:
1. Check that your browser is updated to the newest version available.
2. Clear your browsing data: browser history, cookies, and cached images & files.
3. Reboot your device/computer (this clears out any remaining cookies that might be causing this issue.
Order Packaging + Recycling
All of our orders are carefully packaged in insulated liners with frozen cold-packs at no additional cost to you.
The insulated liners may be recycled at locations with collection bins specific to HDPE (#2) and LDPE (#4) poly and poly bubble mailers. Visit bagandfilmrecycling.org to locate the store nearest to you.
The cold-paks are filled with a gel made of 98% water and 2% organic cotton. It is a re-usable, non-toxic, leak-proof, and biodegradable gel in a recyclable wrapper. To recycle, cut open & empty gel into trash, rinse and recycle at one of the above mentioned locations.
Warm Weather Recommendations
It's truly tragic when a mini melts. As scrumptious as "chocolate soup" sounds, we want your Bars & Minis to arrive in perfect condition! While our orders are carefully packaged with warmer temperatures in mind, sustained scorching temps while in transit are no match for any # of cold-packs.
We check the weather at each destination prior to shipping to help determine packaging protocols, but when the temps exceed 80deg F & risk melted chocolate, OCHO reserves the right to temporarily hold orders or request cancellation. We will notify you in the event your order cannot be fulfilled.
In the meantime:
- Please make necessary arrangements to have your order delivered to an address where it can be accepted immediately upon arrival. We highly recommend shipping to a business address or a FedEx location (see below), rather than a residential address to help keep your package stored in a temperature-controlled environment.
- Packages may be left at recipient's door if no one is available to receive them, regardless of weather or heat. We will be unable to refund your order if the package has been left outside to melt.
- Customers can customize shipping arrangements with FedEx; including the option to hold shipments at various retail locations. To do so, please visit www.fedex.com/us/delivery for further information.
Oops! I made a mistake!
If you need to make any changes to your order please reply to your order confirmation email as soon as possible. We will do our best to help make the change or cancel your order while it's still processing. Note that we are unable to edit Billing Addresses, so if there is an issue with form of payment, we will cancel your order as a courtesy so that you may resubmit with the correct details. Once your order ships, we can no longer adjust or re-route shipments.
Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order. OCHO cannot bear responsibility for shipping errors due to inaccurate or incomplete addresses. Please take care in verifying your shipping address prior to submitting.
Damaged, Missing or Incorrect Item?
If your package arrives damaged, please email us immediately at ecommerce@ochocandy.com with your Order# and photos of the damage. We will need your forensic findings to file a claim with FedEx and get a replacement out to you ASAP!
For orders with missing or incorrect items, please shoot us an email with all details so we can investigate & correct the mistake with either a replacement or refund.
Returns-Exchange Policy?
Due to food safety standards & the semi-perishable nature of chocolate, products cannot be returned or exchanged. If you have a quality concern, be sure to snap some photos & shoot us an email with your order #.
